DANIEL TOMPKINS RETURNS WITH TWO NEW SINGLES FROM THE FORTHCOMING NEW ALBUM

Following on from Ruins in 2020 and Castles in 2019, The Abyss and Frenzy are the first singles taken from a forthcoming new album that’s currently in the works, pencilled in for late 2022/early 2023. To celebrate the release of the new music, Daniel will also be releasing Liquid Hype, a collaboration beer with Alpha Delta, a brewery based in Newcastle.

Daniel gives us an insight into the new tracks…

"I've had these songs a while. They showcase a different side of me that's been bubbling away for some time. I really felt like I needed to ramp up the energy and these two tracks are an expression of self-belief. Whilst 'The Abyss' is a song about dealing with uncertainty, 'Frenzy' is a full frontal assault, where I'm screaming at myself to keep pushing on and stay strong. I wrote these songs last year and handled the guitars, all tracked with my OD Guitars 'Cybele'. I decided to bring in Mac Christensen aka 'Deeper Kind' (White Moth Black Butterfly) as a co-producer, who's really helped to bring them to life. The mix and master was handled by Forrester Savell (Producer, Mixer) who I've worked with previously on Skyharbor's 'Guiding Lights' and WMBB's 'The Cost of Dreaming' released last year on Kscope "

Daniel is currently in the studio working on the new TesseracT album, they also recently supported Dream Theater on their UK Arena tour.
