Eri This performance is absolutely perfect. Not a mere second is wasted in the whole concert; every accord is perfectly coupled with the one before, and I can't stop feeling shivers between songs. It's a truly delightful experience from beginning to end. Not only a recommendation but a must for Tesseract fans! Favorite track: Concealing Fate Parts 1, 2 & 3 (P O R T A L S).

drewbingham If Bladerunner had a prog-metal soundtrack...

Also worth remembering a couple of things as you listen:
1. This was recorded live.
2. The drummer in the recording is not the usual drummer, so had to learn all the songs pre-performance.

Mind-bendingly good. Favorite track: Concealing Fate Parts 1, 2 & 3 (P O R T A L S).

Alice M. Currently trying to sing a little bit, and “Of Matter: Proxy” is among the songs that I try my hand at the most often (but gosh, it's far from easy).
Some of those live versions add some spice or quirks, and the whole thing really feels like an odyssey. Favorite track: Tourniquet (P O R T A L S).

Ryan Johanson Of Matter is not a song you listen to. It's a song you allow to rip out your heart and leave you on the floor in stunned silence. And Dan does a wonderful job putting his own spin on it.

Other highlights for me: Beneath My Skin/Mirror Image, Juno, Dystopia, Nocturne.

Oh, and I'm in love with the sound mixing too. Incredible. Favorite track: Of Matter (P O R T A L S).

Deej The kings of modern prog and an amazing performance very well worth the wait.

"Everything from the stage to the sound to the visuals were killer… a beautiful two-hour venture. TesseracT should be very proud of themselves for delivering such an immense quality of work for their fans during these unfortunate times" Metal Insider

TesseracT are a band that sit outside the bounds of any genre specificity, pioneers of the ever-evolving metal scene and unstoppable force of off-kilter riffs, soaring melodies and disorientating atmospherics.

Following on from 2018’s critically acclaimed Sonder, the band, in the midst of a global pandemic decided to come together to present P O R T A L S – a cinematic live experience like no other. Fans were able to access the exclusive online show via the bands website in December 2020.

Bass player Amos Williams explains more about the event and the concept behind it:

“P O R T A L S is a celebration of our love of performing. Each act is a still from an ever-evolving musical personality. Each song is the conversations you have with old friends when you meet up for the first time in ages and you pick up exactly where you left off.”

Now, Kscope are proud to present this unique event to a wider audience for the first time. The film and soundtrack featuring fan favourites and tracks seldom performed live, spanning the band's career to date, will be issued on an array of formats including Blu-ray, Triple LP and Deluxe Book Edition.

'The quality of the audio and visuals provide testament to TesseracT’s statement that the performance represents their biggest production to date' – Prog/ Louder sound
